William C. Leonard

Leonard, William C. asleep in Jesus on April 10, 2023, at the age of 85.

Beloved husband of the late R. Carol (nee Glaeser) Leonard; Devoted father of Sheryl (the late Frank W. Steinhoff III) Steinhoff-Hinds and John R. Leonard; Cherished grandfather Frank W. Steinhoff IV, Bradley C. (Paulette) Steinhoff, Brett A. Steinhoff, Zachery A. (Anna) Steinhoff, and Emily E. Steinhoff; Cherished great-grandfather of Conner P. Steinhoff, Trenton W. Steinhoff, Nadia M. Steinhoff, Lucas C. Steinhoff, Kailyn M. Steinhoff, Paige R. Steinhoff, the late Owen B. Steinhoff and Brody M. Steinhoff.

William retired from Schnucks markets with 45 years of service.  He was a longtime member of St. Thomas Holy Spirit Lutheran Church.  William also was a member of Kiwanis International Service Club.  A veteran of the US Navy and was honored to be a part of the May 2022 Honor of Flight to Washington D.C.

Memorial visitation Friday, April 21, 2023, from 9:30 am until services at 10:30 am at John L. Ziegenhien & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, Saint Louis, MO 63129.  Interment to follow to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to be made to Kiwanis South County.
