Bereitschaft, William H. on December 7, 2016 fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church and surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 65 years to Betty (nee Thomas); Loving father of Linda Bereitschaft, Terry (Linda) Bereitschaft, Thomas (Barbara) Bereitschaft, Mary (David) Webb, Laura (Craig) Burian and the late William Bereitschaft; dear grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 4; Dear uncle and friend to many. Bill was inducted into the St. Louis Softball Hall of Fame as well as the Greater St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame. He was a loyal St. Louis Blues Hockey fan. SERVICE: Funeral Tuesday 10:00am at Assumption Catholic Church (4725 Mattis Road). Visitation Monday 3:00pm to 9:00pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES (South County-4830 Lemay Ferry Road). Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Anthony's Hospice preferred. December 12, 2016
