Hagensieker, Wayne 78 of St. Louis, MO., entered into rest on Monday August 12, 2019. Preceded in death by his former wife, Mary Patricia (nee Moran) Hagensieker and son Steven Hagensieker. Loving husband to Ann Hagensieker; Dearest father to Stacey (Jeff) Morris, Michelle (Tim) Brewster and David Young; Beloved Grandfather to Dan, Cameron, Cole, Britanna, Grace and Claire; Great-Grandfather to Kendall and Colby.
Wayne served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam War veteran. He attended college at Southeast Missouri State and received a Bachelor’s Degree. He then went on to get his Master’s Degree at Webster University. He was a member of the TKE fraternity and has remained friends with his fraternity brothers all these years. He was a teacher in the inner city for many years and later became the Assistant Principal at Beaumont High School. Wayne was a lifelong member of The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.
Being with family and friends were the most important things in life to Wayne. He was caring, loyal and generous to everyone around him. He loved spending time bowling, playing corkball and going to Cardinals’ games with everyone. Wayne was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, cousin, uncle, in-law and friend. He was one of the great ones and will be missed by too many to name.
