Sloan, Walter W. on Friday, August 28, 2009; beloved husband of the late Mabel L. Sloan (nee Stark), dear father of Sharon and Sandy Sloan, our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. A member of Meridian Lodge # 2 AF & AM, Moolah Clowns, and was a founder of the Parents' Association at State Hospital and was a strong advocate for individuals with disabilities and was a former Democratic Committeeman. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2001 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63131-3597, or a charity of Your choice. SERVICES: Funeral Tuesday 11:00 AM from John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 7027 Gravois (63116) Interment St. Marcus Cemetery. VISITATION: Monday 4-8 PM Masonic service 7:00 pm August 31, 2009
