Gaterman, Walter N., Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Friday January 4, 2013. Beloved husband of Maxine H. Gaterman (nee Hogue). Loving father of Wallis (Mike) McCraw, Deborah (the late Pat) Shine and Mary (Kim) Sadler. Cherished grandfather of Tim, Kevin and John Shine, Mike and Doug McCraw and Chelsea Sadler. Dear great-grandfather of 11. Our uncle, cousin and friend to many. Mr. Gaterman served his country in the US Army's 28th Infantry Division in World War II. He was an ex-POW and a charter member of Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge. He also served as a Knights of Columbus Honor Guard Captain. Services: Funeral from John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 7027 Gravois 11:30am Tuesday to Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church for celebration of Mass at 12 Noon. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. VISITATION MONDAY 2 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the USO of Missouri appreciated. January 7, 2013
