It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Virginia M. Wende, baptized into the hope of Christ’s Resurrection on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her parents the late Herman William Wende and the late Mary Rose Wende nee Taetz; dear sister of the late Herman J. (the late Dorothy) Wende; cherished aunt of Linda (Stephen) McMullen, Michael P. (Cyndy) Wende, Kathryn M. Udina and Barbara M. Kaintz; beloved great aunt of 9 and great great aunt of 9.
Virginia was a delightful woman whose life was filled with music, love, and joy. She had a deep passion for playing the accordion, an instrument that brought her immense joy and allowed her to share her love of music with those around her. Her melodies were a source of comfort and happiness to her family and friends, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
She was a devoted aunt to her nieces and nephews, and her love extended even further to her great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. Virginia had a special way of making each one feel uniquely loved and valued. Her home was always filled with laughter, warmth, and the sound of her accordion, creating a haven of love and togetherness.
In lieu of flowers masses are appreciated.
