Cassidy, Virginia Mae (nee Kluck),fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at age 95. Beloved wife of the late John "Jerry" Cassidy, Sr. Dear daughter of the late Samuel and Lillian Kluck. Loving mother of Maureen Sewall, John F. (Joyce) Cassidy, Kathleen (Paul) Azkoul, Gerald "Jerry" Cassidy and the late Patricia Cassidy Heck. Dear grandmother of Kathy Sewall (Juan) Batlle, Alice Sewall, Colleen Heck (Adam) Elliott, Matthew Cassidy, Aaron and Irene Azkoul. Dear great-grandmother of Eva, Amelie, Gus and Savannah. Dear sister of Dorothy Scanland and the late Patricia Cox, Tom Kluck, and Margaret Hennessey. Dear sister-in-law of James Hennessey. Dear mother-in-law of August Heck, Jr. Dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many. Virginia was always there for her family and friends; and was a loving, thoughtful person. She was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish for 75 years and enjoyed her friends at St. Luke's Women's Guild. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, St. Vincent DePaul Society or charity of choice are appreciated. Services: Visitation Thursday (1/25/18) from 3 to 8 pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES, 7027 Gravois, St. Louis City, MO (63116). Prayers at the funeral home on Friday (1/26/18) at 9:30 am then to St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 7230 Dale Ave. Richmond Heights, MO (63117), for Mass at 10:00 am Friday.
