Wobbe, Violette V. (nee Diedrich) January 16, 1917 - December 28, 2011; Baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection; beloved wife of the late William C. Wobbe; dear mother of Barbara (Daniel) Abbott of Waunakee, WI, Linda Thomas of Anaheim, CA, Dorothy Wobbe of St. Louis, MO and Pamela (Richard) Eyerly of Metamora, IL; dear grandmother of Kevin Abbott, Matthew (Laura) Thorpe, Heather (Joe) Mussaw, Ian Thomas, Dawn Drummond and the late Kim Abbott; dear great-grandmother of Danielle Harms, Kevin Abbott, Jr., Catherine Garza, Brandon Saunders, Juliet Thomas, Claire Drummond and the late Jillian Mussaw; our dear aunt, great-aunt and friend. Mrs. Wobbe was a bookkeeper for a furniture company, a book mender for the St. Louis County Library and a member of the Assumption Church 50 + Club for 20 years. Services: Funeral Friday 9:30 am from JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. (63129) to Assumption Catholic Church for 10:00 am Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association or to the Charity of your choice. VISITATION THURSDAY 4-8 PM. December 29, 2011
