Dear father of Linda Bourgeois, Karen Crecelius, Douglas Crecelius; dear grandfather of Gina (Jeffrey) Long. Dear brother of Kenneth and the late Russell Crecelius. Dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend of many. Vernon was a retired advertising rep for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and a WWII US Army veteran. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul's UCC, Feed My People, or the Salvation Army. Services: Funeral from St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Oakville. Tuesday, 11:00 AM Interment with full Military Honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. VISITATION: Monday, 3-8 pm at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. and Tuesday morning 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM at St. Paul's UCC. Monday, May 6, 2013
