Velma L. Kuehn

Velma L. Kuehn, nee Creamer, entered into rest on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the age of 76. Daughter of the late Russell and the late Ann, nee Zinchuk, loving wife of the late Elmer F. Kuehn, Jr.; loving mother of Beverly Kuehn and Christopher (Katie) Kuehn; cherished grandmother of Melinda (Adam) Zobrist, Tara Kuehn, and Ben Kuehn; dear sister of late Theodor Russell Mandziara and the late Kenneth Mandziara. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Janice and Janet, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Velma enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, cooking, shopping and was very handy at home improvement projects. She volunteered her time with the Girl Scouts and veterans’ organizations. Velma was known as an animal person as well as a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 10 am until services at 12 pm at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South City Chapel, 7027 Gravois Ave., Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
