SCHMITTGENS, THOMAS G. on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the age of 60. Beloved husband of Merry Lynn Schmittgens (nee Stephan); proud father of Colleen and Bill Schmittgens; brother of Sister Kathy Schmittgens, SSND, Donna (George) Sciuto, Rev. Kevin Schmittgens and the late Lorrie (surviving Pat) Madorin; nephew, uncle, cousin and good friend. Tom was the owner of the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy on Mackenzie in Affton and a long time survivor of breast cancer. In fulfillment of his wishes, Tom donated his body to Washington University School of Medicine. Memorial visitation at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS South County 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. Friday 4-8PM.
