Thomas Roulston

Thomas A. Roulston, age 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home in Saint Louis, Missouri on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. He was the youngest son of Andrew and Dorothy (nee Pelt) Roulston, born October 13, 1939. The son of a vintage car enthusiast, he developed an early interest in automotive repair. He attended O'Fallon Technical School. A mechanical genius, he was able to fix anything. He was generous with his skills and would always lend a helping hand. In his early years he worked in the construction heavy equipment field. He belonged to the Horseless Carriage Club, the Packard Club, and the Mercedes-Benz Club. He enjoyed antique car shows, traveling, and spending time celebrating holidays and parties with family and friends. He loved his dogs and insisted on having one even until the end. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gail (nee Zdanowski) Roulston, his son Thomas (Martha) Roulston, and daughters Rita Roulston, Gina (Newt) Gorman and Sarah Roulston. He leaves behind his sisters Patricia (Roulston) Knehans, June (Roulston) Lurkins and preceded in death by his parents and brother Jack Roulston. He is the beloved grandfather of Jennifer, Katy and Jack, great grandfather of Alana, Ryan, Amos, Lydia and Sebastian and beloved dog Lila. He was a cherished uncle, cousin and friend to many. Please join us for a celebration of his life on Saturday August 18, 2018 at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis County, Missouri 63129 from 9:30am to 12:00pm followed by a luncheon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of St. Louis or Humane Society of Missouri. August 18, 2018
