Thomas Helfrich

Helfrich, Thomas Edward, 63, passed away peacefully April 7, 2011 in Columbia, Missouri. Tom is survived by his wife of 35 years, Glenora; three daughters Carolyn Johnson, Emily Horner, Nicole Hecker and seven grandchildren. Born and raised in St. Louis, the only son of Andrew and Grace. He served his country with distinction during the Vietnam War, where he earned the Bronze Star for heroism. Tom always had a smile and a good word for everyone he met. He enjoyed life with enthusiasm and a well developed sense of humor. Services: Tuesday, 1:00 pm, April 12, 2011, at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS South County, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. VISITATION MONDAY 4 - 9 PM. April 11, 2011
