Thomas Harris

Funeral services for Thomas M. Harris, age 46, of Benton, Ky. will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2011, at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home, 7027 Gravois Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri. Burial, with full military honors will take place at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. Tom passed away Sunday, June 26, 2011 at 9:34 p.m. at the Marshall County Hospital. Born in St. Louis, Tom was a proud veteran of the United States Coast Guard having served for 6 years, from 1984-1990. He was a GMP chemical technician at the Lubrizol Chemical Plant in Calvert City. Tom was also of the Methodist Faith. Tom was a wonderful husband and father. He was also a hard worker. Tom is survived by his devoted wife of 22 years, Patty O'Keefe Harris, and his loving daughter, Callie Rose Harris. Other survivors include, Aunt Lola Bochert, of St. Claire, Missouri, her daughter Mary, and children, Stephanie and Michael, along with many friends, and co-workers. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Virginia Meyer Harris. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 pm. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2011 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, and Friday, July 1, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at John L.
