Survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Pat, children: Joe, Tom (Melissa), Anthony (Stephanie Rawe), Mary Beth (James Currey), grandchildren: Zack, Grant, Logan and Ethan, grandcats and granddog. He was a husband, father, grandfather, godfather, uncle, cousin, neighbor and friend to many. Tom was the youngest of 7 children and is preceded into death by his parents, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
Tom, a 1958 St. Mary's High School graduate was a retired milkman from Pevely Dairy and worked in, and with, the milk industry most of his life. Tom's career began when he was young, his family owned and operated Meramec Dairy. Tom was a welcome visitor to the backdoors of your favorite St. Louis locations, delivering milk and dairy. He took pride in knowing his way around St. Louis. After his retirement, Tom volunteered at places such as Feed My People and St. Anthony's Food Pantry. Tom was always willing to help people, whether it was through volunteering or helping his family and neighbors. Every morning, like clockwork, he would go and put his neighbors' newspapers up on their porch so they didn't have to go far to get them, especially elderly neighbors. Tom was affectionately known as the Dad of the street, always watching out for everyone, willing to help and active in attending neighborhood meetings. Tom was in the army reserves prior to being a milkman and was a member of AARP local group. He was a kind soul to animals and always looked for ways to help them.
