Theresa Maciak

Maciak, Theresa M passed away peacefully August 1, 2018, wife of the late Walter E. Maciak, dear mother to Denise (Brett) Schaedler, Walter (Myra) Maciak, and Diane (Ted Mayer) Gang, grandmother to Jessica, Alex, Annabelle, William, Chad, and Chloe.She enjoyed the company of the ladies from her crochet club and loved making hats. She was ananimal lover and also enjoyed solving Sudoku puzzles with a good cannoli. She loved her coffee, but was very particular about the brew. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, a true New Yorker til the end, with her strong opinions, lived life on her own terms with no regrets. She loved good NY pizza, fresh kielbasa, and chocolate babka. She spoke fondly of her summer memories at the Jersey Shore with her husband and family, Jackie and Tony's family, and Eileen and Vinny's family. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers or gifts, she would appreciate a donation to her favorite charity, St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
