Terri Lohrum

September 20, 1950 — January 27, 2018

Terri Lee Lohrum (Hays) Born-September 20, 1950 Passed-January 27, 2018 Terri was proceeded in death by: her mother Evelyn Hays (nee Lewis), her father Charles "Sonny" Hays, her grandfather Howard "Buck" Lewis, her grandmother Pearl Lewis (nee Wilson) and aunt Helen Paray (nee Lewis). She is laid to eternal rest by her husband Alan Lohrum, son Alan (Angela) Lohrum II, son Jason (Melinda) Lohrum and daughter Sunny (Timothy) Redd. her grandsons Zakkary (Ashley) Lohrum and Kearnan Redd and great grand daughter Charlotte "bitty" Lohrum. Also many children who grew up with the family such as Jennifer Hixson, Robert Eberhart, Greyson Eberhart, Jovon and Chris Hackworth and Lisa West-Harvey. She had many friends as well, too many to list. Terri and Alan met in High School (Lindbergh class of '69) and fell in love. Favorite date night would be to record the sound from Star Trek on reel to reel and discuss among friends. Soon after, they were married and began a family and life together. They married on February 14th 1970. Under their care and love the family flourished and grew to include two sons (Alan the eldest and Jason the middle child) and a daughter Sunny (the youngest). She was always proud to be able to say that she birthed all of her children naturally. In addition to being a stay at home mom and home maker, she had many hobbies and interests of which some of her favorites included reading books, making jewelry and watching movies. One accomplishment she was always proud of was the running of a small family business named All American Comics. She took pride in running the business because it incorporated several of her passions such as encouraging people to read and building a sense of community and friendship. She always had a quick smile and enjoyed being around the comic shop regulars whom she referred to as her "shop kids". After five years of running the business it was given to a close friend of the family, Mark Farace, so that she could spend more time with her ever growing family. By that time her family had grown to include her first grandchild Zakkary Lohrum. Many years later while helping Alan and Angela raise Zakkary to adulthood her second grandchild came along, Kearnan Redd from her daughter Sunny. Then, as luck would have it just a few years after Kearnan, Zakkary and his fiancee Ashley would give Terri her first great grandchild Charlotte Lohrum. She was a kind woman who would always be happy to help anyone who would cross her path. Some would call her a free spirit as she was quick to try new things and never got set in her ways. Always quick with a smile and comfort to those who needed it most. She also loved telling stories of her childhood and her family growing up to entertain the younger generations. January 30, 2018
