Sundhar Majhi was born in Purano Basti (village), District Sarbang, block-Galephu Bhutan on Junuary 1, 1977. From loving parents: Father, Chandra Bahadur Majhi and mother, Purni Majhi. Among seven children (three sisters and four brothers), he was the oldest. Along with his parents and siblings, they left Bhutan in 1992 and moved to Goldhap camp (Nepal), where they lived for five months, and after moved to Beldangi 3 camp. Sundhar Majhi was married to Leela Majhi in 1977, together having one daughter, Prabha Majhi. Along with his small family, he resettled in Saint Louis, Missouri, USA on September 13, 2013. He was very helpful and a fun, loving person. He was an active community member who loved having guests and cooking on the weekends. During his free time, he loved listening to Nepali music and playing games on his phone. He was a proud father and a loving husband. Sundhar Majhi is survived by his wife, Leela Majhi and daughter Prabha Majhi. Service: Saturday, June 16, 2018. 10:00 a.m. from John L.
