Sue Douglas

August 7, 1938 — April 1, 2025

Sue Douglas entered into rest on Monday, April 1, 2025, at the age of 86; daughter of the late Robert and Hannah (nee Battreal) Ferrell; Beloved wife of Lee W. Douglas; Loving mother of Cathy Douglas, Mark (Denise) Douglas, Vicki (Robert) Jones and Beth (John) Catanzaro; Cherished Grandma Sue of Jessica (Armen), Aidan, Amy, Kelly, Michael, Sean, Emily and Ian; Dear Great Grandma of Isaiah; she will be missed by many other family members and friends.

Sue, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy. She and her husband, Lee, shared an extraordinary 67-year marriage that began when they grew up as neighbors. Their love story was one of unwavering devotion, filled with countless cherished memories and adventures.

Sue was a woman of faith, deeply committed to her church and community. Her warm and welcoming spirit was evident in everything she did. She had a passion for shopping, reading, baking, and cooking, always creating delightful treats and meals for her loved ones. Her kitchen was a place of comfort and joy, where she shared her love through her culinary creations.

Sue's zest for life extended beyond her home. She loved to sail, feeling the wind in her hair and the sun on her face as she navigated the waters. She also had a passion for scuba diving. She was an avid player of Rummikub, often gathering friends and family for lively games filled with laughter. Her love for travel took her to many wonderful places, where she embraced new experiences and cultures.

Above all, Sue adored spending time with her grandchildren. She was a doting grandmother, always ready with a hug, a story, or a game. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she treasured every moment with them.

Sue's life was a testament to the beauty of love, faith, and family. She will be remembered for her kindness, her fun-loving spirit, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched, forever cherished and never forgotten.
