Steven C. Edler Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the age of 64; preceded in death by his father the late Clifford Edler and survived by his mother Harriet Edler nee Adams; beloved husband of Janine R. Edler; loving father of Garrett (Alexandra) Edler and Connor (Danielle) Edler; cherished grandfather of Brooklyn; dear brother of David (Terri) Edler; devoted uncle of Chris (Heather) Edler, Sarah Edler, Julia Max, Ryan Max (Maria Sharpe), David Sloand (Bianca Zhang), Colin (Caye) Sloand and Meaghan (Sean) Reidy; brother in law of Dr. Jim (Mary Ann) Sloand, Laura Max (Dan Brauchle), Joe Liebman and the late Dan Liebman; many more relatives and close friends.

Steve's life was a testament to his love for his family, his passion for the outdoors, and his dedication to helping others. Steve cherished every moment spent with his wife Janine and their family. His love for them was evident in the countless memories they created together, whether it was enjoying a quiet evening at home or embarking on new adventures. His family was his greatest joy, and he always made sure they knew how much they meant to him.

An avid golfer, Steve, found peace and camaraderie on the greens. He was also a skilled hunter, particularly enjoying the challenge of hunting waterfowl and ducks. His love for the outdoors extended to woodworking, where he showcased his talents as a handyman.

Steve's enthusiasm for life was reflected in his participation in triathlons, his love for dogs, and his passion for boating, water skiing, and snow skiing. He found exhilaration in riding and rebuilding motorcycles, a hobby that combined his love for mechanics and adventure.

A true friend to many, Steve was always ready to lend a helping hand. His generosity and kindness were well-known, and he took great pride in being a Boy Scout Leader for many years, guiding and mentoring young scouts with dedication and care.

Steve's love for the beach was a source of relaxation and joy, and he found satisfaction in mowing lawns and maintaining manicured landscapes, appreciating the beauty of a well-kept yard.

Steve's legacy is one of love, adventure, and service. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
