Stephen Frank Pagel

Stephen Frank Pagel passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at the age of 74. Son of the late Francis F. “Bud” Pagel and Dorothy A. Pagel, nee Quirk; beloved brother to Barbara (Gene) Brantley, Frank Pagel, Mary Fry, John (Monita Ireland) Pagel, and Tony Pagel; uncle and great-uncle to numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; Stephen is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Stephen was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War and later in life was a member of Teamster 625. Stephen loved his cat, Toots II, who will miss him. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and activities like motorcycle riding, visiting area casinos, going on float trips. Stephen also enjoyed facial hair grooming, of which he was proud.

Graveside service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on May 1, 2023 at 11:30 a.m with a procession leaving John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home City Chapel, 7027 Gravois Ave. St. Louis, MO 63116, at 11:00 a.m.
