Long, Sherman L. entered into rest on Tuesday, February 10, 2009. Beloved husband of 57 years to Roma Rae Long; loving father of Sharon (Bob) Fitzgerald and Terri (Gary) Wriley; proud grandpa of Dan and Katie Fitzgerald and Brad Wriley; dear great grandpa of Emily Grace Fitzgerald; dear brother of John Long. Our dear uncle, cousin and friend to many. Sherman was a member of Dr. Fry Methodist Church and a 53 year member of Spirit of St. Louis Masonic Lodge No. 27. Services: Graveside service Friday, 2:30 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, meet at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS South County, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road at 2 p.m. for procession to cemetery. Memorials to SSM Hospice would be appreciated. VISITATION: Thursday 3 - 8 p.m.
