Russ Klingel

Klingel, Russ "Moose" Baptized into the hope of Christ's Resurrection March 20, 2016. Born January 10, 1934. Husband of 56 years to the late Margaret (nee Constandin). Father of Patricia K. (Michael) Morrison and Russ F. (Kathleen) Klingel. Proud Grandpa of Meaghan E. Morrison and Jack R. Klingel. He graduated from Cleveland H.S. in 1952 and was a member of the golf team in 1950-51. Proudly served in the U.S. Naval Reserve from 1951-1959, including 2 years active duty at the U.S. Naval Air Station on North Island in San Diego. He was an independent insurance agent for 51 years. He served as past President of St. Catherine's Men Council, Professional & Business Men's Club of the Hill and Webster Groves Sunday Morning Club. As an avid golfer for 65 years, Russ was an active member of the Metro St. Louis Seniors Golf Association and a participant in the STL Senior Olympics since 1988. Russ' first love was his family, especially his two wonderful grandchildren, his dedication to golf and church. SERVICE: Funeral from JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS South County (4830 Lemay Ferry Road) 9:30am Wednesday to St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church for 10:00am Mass. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
