Roy Barnette

Barnette, Roy E., 73, of St. Louis, MO, died Tuesday, December 22, 2015.He was a native of Kemper, MS and resident of St. Louis, MO. He enjoyed his family and friends and exploring the forests of Mississippi. Mr. Barnette was preceded in death by his parents, Durwood "Gene" and Esther (nee Dees) Barnette, and sister, Wanda Kay Barnette. Survivors include wife, Joyce (nee Clay); daughter, Jill Shroff and husband, Steve; son, Dr. Alan Barnette and wife, Dr. Kate; grandchildren, Megan Shroff, Allison Shroff, Eliza Barnette, Lucy Barnette; brother, Robert Barnette and wife, Allison; brother-in-law, Bill Clay and wife, Judi; nephews, Brock Clay and Ryan Clay; nieces, Mitzi Kennedy and Candace Barnette. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation are appreciated. Most importantly, we remind everyone to always invest time, energy and love into the lives of your children and loved ones. Services: Visitation Sunday at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. (63129) from 3 - 8 pm. Visitation Monday at Concord Trinity United Methodist Church, 5275 So.
