Rosemary Lucille Kovarik passed away on Friday, March 14, at the age of 96.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband the late Louis F. Kovarik. Rosemary is survived by her cherished daughter Joyce (Bill) Laub; her devoted sons Gary (Mary) Kovarik and Kevin (Michele) Kovarik; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Rosemary is fondly remembered for her impressive collection of Donald Duck memorabilia that occupied every inch of her house, and was a member of the Disney Club STL. She had a love of games such as bingo, bridge, hand and foot, and gin. Rosemary possessed a tenacious spirit as a proud survivor of breast cancer and cherished each day she shared with her precious family. One of her most treasured sanctuaries was a house she owned at the Lake of the Ozarks, where she could enjoy the serenity of nature to its fullest. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and was an excellent swimmer.
Rosemary’s memory will be carried on in the hearts of those who were blessed with knowing her. She will be deeply missed.
