Ronald Clem Winschel

Ronald Clem Winschel entered into rest on Monday March 3, 2025, at the age of 80. Precious son of the late Clemens and the late Luvina, nee Ernst, Winschel; Beloved husband of Robin Winschel, nee Hutson; Dear brother to the late Thomas Winschel and Mary Jane Malone; Devoted father of daughters Melissa (Gary) Boyd, Rebecca (Kris) Schriefer, Jessica (Sean) Grove, Theresa (James) Schwartz, and Cynthia (Mikey) Winschel-Cebulski; Treasured grandfather of Kory, Elizabeth, Gloria, June, Andrew, Greta, Gwendolyn, Grace, and Benjamin; Blessed great-grandfather to Kallum; and Cherished brother-in-law of John Hutson. Ron is also survived by many other dear relatives and friends.

Ron was born on September 30, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri. Throughout his long life, Ron was known for his patience and kindness. The love he had for life and others was known to his family, especially his wife and five daughters whom have continued his legacy.

Ron is also remembered for his multifaceted set of skills. He was very intelligent, handy and enjoyed the process of fixing things and working with his hands. Ron found great joy in coaching his daughters and grandson in basketball and softball. He officiated basketball and volleyball for many years. Ron was extremely creative and artistic.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. 

Visitation for Ron will be held on Thursday, March 6 from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South City Chapel, 7027 Gravois Ave. St. Louis, MO 63116. Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following morning, March 7, at 10:00 a.m. at Seven Holy Founders Catholic Church. Interment in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

The loss of such a treasured life is mourned, but the memories made with Ron by his family and friends will be cherished forever. May he rest in peace.
