Rodney Larue

Rodney Ellis LaRue, age 60, left us on September 27, 2021. Rod; brother, friend and gentle soul. Above all else, Rod loved his family, his cat Misty and all of his many friends. Music and artistic expression filled his soul as did convening with nature. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Marjorie and Ferd LaRue and is survived by his five siblings, Linda LaRue Brown (Jerry), Sharon LaRue (Jay Kiesewetter) Kathy LaRue Ziegenmier (Jim), Michael Edwin LaRue and Dennis LaRue (Ann Marie) as well as thirty-two nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Rod left us long before his time and his leaving has left a hole in all our hearts

In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to Places for People or Stray Rescue of St. Louis .

Services: Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Friday, October 1, 2021, at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home 7027 Gravois Ave.  A Memorial Service will be at 10 am Saturday October 2, 2021 at the funeral home
