Morgan, Robert “Bob”, 73 of Saint Louis, Missouri, was born to Lowell J. and Cleo (nee Smith) Morgan and passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at home surrounded by loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by, his high school sweetheart and beloved wife of 51 years, Joyce Morgan, his devoted daughter, Heather (Sean Moenkhoff) Morgan, his cherished grandchildren, Ashley Moenkhoff and Ian Moenkhoff. Bob was a brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, and friend to many.
Bob was a graduate of Mehlville High School ‘Class of 67’. He went on to graduate from Mizzou ‘Class of 71’ with his BS in Accounting. He married the love of his life Joyce in 1971. Bob was an active member at Prince of Peace UCC for 40 years. He was a member of the Mustang Club of St. Louis and served as their Vice-President for many years. Bob loved playing Volleyball with his team named “Having Fun”. The Indianapolis 500 Race was a sacred holiday for him. He loved all kinds of music. When Bob received his diagnosis of Parkinson, the doctor suggest he begin boxing. Bob put his energy into boxing and the boxing exercises to stay active and fight off PD. He loved doing ‘focus mits’ with Dr. Steve and the other coaches. Bob will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family would like to send out a special thank you to Dot, the coaches and volunteers at Rock Steady Boxing STL – Fenton for their love, concern, and support through the years. They would also like to thank BJC Hospice, especially Mike, Eunice, Karen, Chris, the nurses, and staff for their specialized help through Bob’s journey.

Visitation, Friday, August 19, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons, 4830 Lemay Ferry Road (63129). Service, Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace United Church of Christ, 4966 Towne South (63128). Interment Parklawn Cemetery.
