Robert Wayne Reynolds, beloved son of Henry T. Reynolds Jr and the late Dorothy L. Reynolds (nee Henson), passed away on November 4, 2023. He was born on December 13, 1955.
Robert will be remembered by his family and friends as a kind and compassionate individual who always had a smile on his face. His main goal in life was to make everyone laugh, and he succeeded in spreading joy wherever he went.
During his tenure in the U.S. Army, Robert served as a tank turret mechanic, displaying his dedication and commitment to serving his country.
Outside of his military service, Robert had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought him immense happiness. He loved spending time with his friends on the Black River in Lesterville, MO, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever. The tranquility of nature provided solace to him, and he found peace amidst the serene beauty of the river.
An avid fan of Westerns, Robert enjoyed immersing himself in stories set in the Old West. The tales of adventure and resilience resonated with him, showcasing his own steadfast spirit.
In addition to his love for Westerns, Robert found great enjoyment in online gaming with his friends. Through virtual worlds, he formed lasting bonds and created countless unforgettable experiences.
Robert's vibrant life will be celebrated through a series of services held at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes - South County Chapel in St. Louis, MO. The visitation will take place on November 14, 2023, starting at 9:30 AM until 11:15 AM.
Following the visitation will be the Funeral Service at 11:15 AM at the same location. Friends and family will gather to pay their final respects to Robert as they honor his memory and legacy.
The interment ceremony will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO, on November 14, 2023. The interment will begin at 12:30 PM, providing a final resting place for Robert.
Robert Wayne Reynolds leaves behind a loving family who will dearly miss him. He is survived by his father, Henry T. Reynolds Jr., his brother Henry T. (the late Janet) Reynolds III, his sister Willmetta (Jim) Zaricor, his sister Vickie G. Huff, his sister Brenda (Bill) Klages, and his brother James Reynolds Robert was also a cherished uncle to eight nieces and nephews, as well as twenty great-nieces and nephews and thirteen great-great-nieces and nephews. He played a significant role in their lives and leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire them.
In this time of grief, let us remember the joy and laughter that Robert brought into our lives. Though he may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will forever live on in our hearts and memories.
May we find solace in the cherished moments we shared with him and honor his life by carrying forward the love and laughter that defined him.
