Robert Naucke

WWII Veteran, Robert C. Naucke fell asleep in Jesus on February 28, 2021 at the age of 94. He was the beloved husband of the late Shirley J. (Shaw) and the late Geraldine I. (Schumacher) Braun; dear father of Bob (Tatyana) Naucke, Bill (Debbie) Naucke, Susan (Tom) Schindler, the late Sally Naucke, and Sheila (Jim) Mueller; cherished grandfather of Miki (Mike) Maggio, Rob Naucke, Chanda (Brian) Kelley, Tabitha (Grady) Short, Emily (Brian) Buechler, Brett (NaTasha) Naucke, Kevin Mueller and Corey Mueller; great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, uncle, and friend to many. Dad was known to start each day with a cup of coffee, the newspaper and his crossword puzzles, and fell asleep each night reading various auto magazines. He enjoyed watching soccer, softball, and old westerns on TV, but most of all he loved his regular visits with his children.  He always amazed us with his keen wit and extraordinary memory.  He is truly missed by us all.

His favorite Bible passage was Revelation 2:10b, which reads: “Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.”

His Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021, at 10:00 am at:

Salem Lutheran Church
8343 Gravois Road
Affton, MO 63123.

Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery immediately following the service.
