Robert Lehr

Lehr, Robert W. “Bob” asleep in Jesus on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at age 84. Beloved husband of Carole M. Lehr (Nee Stock) for 46 years and the late Grace Rosalie Lehr (nee Hinck).  Beloved father of Judy (Mark) Maichel, Nancy (Jeff) Crawford and Chris Alexander.  Loving grandfather of Nathan (Caroline) Maichel, Gabe (Emily) Maichel, Joel Maichel, Luke Maichel, Joshua Maichel, Ashley (John) Safron, Alyssa (Aaron) Stiles and Kai Escobar.  Dearest great-grandfather of Noah, Elijah, Gideon, Natalie and Summer.  Dear brother of Will (the late Ellen) Lehr.  Our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and dear friend to many.

Bob retired as a teacher from the St. Louis Public School System after 28 years of service.  He continued serving others as Lay Minister at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church for 2 years and then at Holy Cross Lutheran Church for 28+ years.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Holy Cross Lutheran Church Endowment Fund are appreciated.
Services:  Visitation Friday, (3/6/2020), from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES, 7027 Gravois Ave. (63116).  Visitation Saturday, (3/7/2020) from 9:00 am to the time of funeral service at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 2650 Miami (63118) followed by interment in Our Redeemer Cemetery.
