Heckel, Robert T. "Bob" on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at age 71. Beloved husband of the late Rebecca Heckel. Beloved father of Paula (Jake) Hart, Myra Freeman, Audra (Jim) Eisenbeis and Jo-Jo. Dear Grandpa of Jason, Ali, Eddie and Abby. Dear Brother of Ben Heckel, Barb Camp and Bonnie (Jerry) Boyd. Dear Uncle and friend to many. Dad, you are our hero. As a St. Louis City Police Officer, Bob received the Medal of Valor. He was a member of the Moolah Shrine, Masons, and owner of Randy's Frozen Custard at Lake Ozark, MO. He was the original organizer of the Annual Lake Shore Cleanup at Lake of the Ozarks. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Stray Rescue of St. Louis are appreciated. Services: Visitation Saturday at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS, 7027 Gravois, from 10:00 am to the time of memorial service at 4:00 pm. March 27, 2010
