Robert Davis

Davis, Robert Ray "Bob" age 81, died on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the Missouri Veterans Home where he had been living for nearly 7 years. He leaves his oldest daughter, MaryBeth (with son-in-law Kevin) and youngest son Gary (with daughter-in-law Elizabeth) along with his grandchildren Dylan, Hannah, Jerimy, Joshua and Jacob. Bob enlisted into the Navy when he was old enough to. He met his wife Eileen Toney while on leave. They were married January 25, 1958 and were married 53 years before Eileen passed. After serving in the Navy, Bob worked as a Police Officer for the city of St. Louis, worked for Food Town, was a truck driver and then became the sole proprietor of Bob's Home Repair. He repaired and built anything for anybody. He loved his work and his clients. He not only took pride in his business, but truly relished the friends he made during his time in business. Bob was a very outgoing man and everybody knew and loved Bob. He will be missed greatly. A funeral service will be held October 19th at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home at 4830 Lemay Ferry Road (63129) from 9am - 10am with service following and graveside service at Jefferon Barracks at 11am. October 19, 2018
