White, Richard Francis "Dick" of Affton, MO passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at age 87. Beloved husband of Dolores "Dolly" White (nee Andre) for 58 years. Loving father of Joan and Rick White and Karen (Scott) Distler. Dear grandfather of Mason White and step-grandfather of Bryan and Jacob Distler. Dear brother of Robert (Jean) White. Dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Dick was known fondly as "The Chair Man" for his hobby of repairing aluminum lawn chairs and attending estate sales. He retired from the City of St. Louis BPS. Memorials to the charity of donor's choice are appreciated. Services: Visitation on Friday (8/25) from 4 to 8 pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. (63129). Visitation on Saturday (8/26) at Salem Lutheran Church, 8343 Gravois Rd., Affton, MO (63123) from 12, noon to the time of funeral service at 1:00 pm Saturday. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery (Lemay, MO).
