Richard Fox

Fox, Richard A. "Dick" died on Friday, May 10, 2019, at the age of 72. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Jane and Philip Ward Fox and his twin brother, Robert (Sherry) Fox. He is survived by his wife, Ellen; children, Brian (Tiffany), Ben (Kelli) and Paul (Lisa) Fox. Brother of Tom (Nancy) Fox. Grandfather of Cassie Fox, Jarod Fox, Abigail Fox, Lillian Fox, Isabella Fox, Marissa Fox, Jacob Fox and great-grandfather of James Alls and Lane Fox, Step - Grandfather to Madison and Mason Butts, and Christopher Hillard. Dick grew up in Affton and attended CBC, Class of 1965. After four years in the United States Air force, he began a career in information technology. He worked for Pet Incorporated in St. Louis and finished his career at UPS in Atlanta. He and his brother, Tom, shared a love of golf. Their semi-annual golf trips were a bright spot in his life. His children and grandchildren brought him joy. Everyone who knew Dick enjoyed his sense of humor and gentle spirit. He is loved and will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Transplant Foundation, 600 17TH Street (Suite 2515 S), Denver, CO (80202) are appreciated. Services: A memorial Mass to honor his life will be held at St. John Paul II Catholic Church (formerly St. George Church), located at Gravois and Heege, on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 9:00 am followed by interment in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors.
