Richard "Dick" Lynch, born on August 22, 1930, in Lemmon, South Dakota, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025, in Saint Louis, Missouri. A respected figure in his community, Dick is fondly remembered as a loving husband, a devoted family member, and a successful entrepreneur. Alongside his wife Joyce, whom he cherished until her passing, he proudly founded Lynch Foundation Company, leaving a lasting legacy of dedication and hard work.

Dick's life was rich with interests and passions. He was an avid fisherman and had a deep appreciation for old-time country music. He found great joy in playing music with his family, creating harmonies that resonated with treasured moments. As a testament to his competitive spirit, Dick was also a Golden Glove Boxer, showcasing his talent and tenacity in the ring. Additionally, he looked forward to the annual meat shoots, where camaraderie and friendly competition flourished.

Beyond his entrepreneurial pursuits and hobbies, Dick was an active member of his community. He served as the President of Lakewood Hall and was involved with the Affton Elks Lodge, contributing to the vibrant tapestry of local life.

He leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews—including Nancy Buchholz, Donna Austin, John Kaiser, Diana Roe, Robert Lynch, Sheila Summers, James Andrew Lynch, Mark C. Lynch, Jason E. Lynch, Ricky Lynch, Tina Lynch, Tammie Lynch, Michael Viagano, and Linda McAneney—as well as a host of great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and cousins Pat (Carol) Lynch and their daughter Beverly who carry his memory forward.

Dick has been reunited with his loving wife Joyce Lynch, as well as his dear parents, Edward and Anna (nee Grosch) Lynch. He is also preceded in death by his siblings: John Lynch, Maurice Lynch, Claire (nee Lynch) Kaiser, and Michael Robert Lynch, along with nephews John "Jackie" Lynch, Maurice "Eddie" Lynch, and David Vigano. Dear companion of Toni Lebling and Mae Aherns.

A visitation will be held in honor of Dick on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Homes - South City Chapel, located at 7027 Gravois Ave, St. Louis, MO 63116. Further visitation will take place on Monday, March 10, 2025, at St. Mark Catholic Church, beginning at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass at 10:00 AM. Following the Mass, interment will occur at Lakewood Park Cemetery.
