Parker, Perry R.88, of St. Louis, MO passed away peacefully on March 31, 2019 surrounded by family. He was born to parents Willas U. and Pearl M. Parker on March 30, 1931 in Stoddard County, MO. Beloved husband to Alma Parker for 47 years. Loving father to Catherine M. Livengood (Richard), Christine M. Cigno (Dr. Sam E.), and Deborah S. Poldan (John); stepfather to Ralph LouisNoah (deceased) and Andrew Taylor Noah (Jill Nassif). Dear grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of 13. Dear brother of the late Don Parker (Angie); survived by his sisters Joan Prothero (late Earl), Patricia Cinciripini (late Henry), and Carolyn Kennedy (Robert). He is survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of long-timefriends. He is a special uncle to an extended family of relations in England. Perry is a proud veteran of the US Navy and served from 1948-1952 earning several medals including the Bronze Star. He is a member of the Tin Can Sailors, theNational Association of Destroyer Veterans US Navy. He is a past member of Moolah Temple Pipes & Drums, past Master Mason Theodore Roosevelt Lodge, member of Oakville Elks Lodge #2726, Royal Arch Mason Oriental Chapter 78 Scottish Rite, and volunteered for Jefferson Barracks Historical Museum for 11 years. He was known and will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious smile, and his kindand compassionate spirit. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the John L. Ziegenhein Funeral Home, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129, burial to follow at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in his name to the American Heart Association.
