Penneye Buesking

Buesking, Penneye Lee (nee McWhorter)  

Asleep in Jesus on Thursday November 2, 2023, at the age of 73. Beloved wife of 40 years to Otto “Sonny” Buesking; cherished mother of daughters Heather (Sean) Fanning and Stephanie (Steve) Gramlick; blessed grandmother of Loghan Fanning, Chloe Gramlick, and Zeke Gramlick; dear sister of Karen (Butch) Beinhorn; preceded in death by parents Jesse McWhorter and Florence Lepp (nee Burger); dear friend to many. 

Penneye retired from McDonald’s Restaurants, lending her helping hand at multiple locations throughout her career. She was an active member of Salem Lutheran Church. This included her participation in the Altar Guild and the Ladies Guild where she would assist in helping with funeral luncheons for fellow church members. Penneye loved spending time at St. Louis attractions like the Muny, the Zoo, and Grant’s Farm. In her free time, she liked to garden, but she treasured her time most when she was spending it with family.

Visitation Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church, with funeral beginning immediately at 12:00 p.m. Interment in Our Redeemer Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
