Duenwald, Paul A., Sr., baptized into the hope of Christ's Resurrection on Saturday, October 19, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Mary Jean Duenwald (nee Wilhelm); dear father of Margie (Mike) Richard, Karen Landon, Paul A. (Diane) Duenwald, Jr., Lorrie (Ron) Hazard, Greg (Robyn) Duenwald, John (Debbie) Duenwald, Mary Anne (Ed) Jones and Jim (Carrie) Duenwald; dear grandfather of 15 and their spouses, great-grandfather of one; our dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. Paul served in the US Navy during WWII and in the Korean Conflict; he was a volunteer at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital for more than 25 years, and was a member of the Liederkranz Society. Paul's family wishes to thank the staff at Bethesda Southgate for the exceptional care they provided. Memorials may be made in his name to St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church. SERVICES: Funeral Tuesday, 10:00 am from John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. to St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church for Mass at 10:30 am.. Interment with Full Military Honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation, Monday, 4-9 pm.
