Patti Wnuk

July 11, 1958 — July 9, 2018

Patti Lynn Wnuk (nee Fannon) passed away just a little over a day short of her 60th birthday, July 9, 2018. Patti was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Elmer and Betty Fannon (nee Kickel) July 11, 1958. She worked as a nurse for over 30 years in numerous specialties, a true "Jack of all Nurses". Patti halved her time between Arizona and St. Louis to ensure she was able to spend time with her beloved family in both states. She had a passion for animals, especially cats, and rescued many throughout her life. She enjoyed "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" and "The Nightmare Before Christmas" as well as collecting; her showpieces were remarkable wicker baskets and tins. Patti was preceded into the hereafter by her parents Elmer and Betty. She leaves behind to carry on her legacy: her other half of 30 years, Jim Wnuk; two daughters, Jessica Johnson (nee Wnuk) and Heather Wnuk; son, Devon Fannon; her two granddaughters, the pride and joys of her life, Evelyn Grace and Charlotte Faith Johnson; sister, Kelly Shillito (nee Fannon); brother, Michael Fannon; a tiny spitfire chihuahua, P-nut with many cats; and numerous beloved extended family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her kind, generous, and hilariously silly spirit. Patti loved her animals and supported animal rescue, so in lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in her name to the Humane Society or animal charity of your choice. Visitation will be held from 10-2pm Saturday, July 21st, 2018 at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Home, 7027 Gravois Ave, St. Louis, MO 63116 with Service being held at 2pm following the visitation.
