Oliver Barnett

Barnett, Oliver R., passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at the age of 93; survived by his wife and love of his life Mae Barnett (nee Zellers) who he joined in marriage nearly 69 year ago. He is the greatest father of Oliver R. Barnett, Jr., Debbie (Tom) Dittrich and William Barnett. Grandfather of Tom (Erin) Dittrich, Jr., Mike (Jennifer) Dittrich, Ray Barnett, Bridget (Mitch) Fusco and William (Holly) Robertson. Great-grandfather of seven who were the lights of his life. Special uncle of Joann (Jerry) Stokes who he helped raise. Much loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend. Special friend of Maggie (his 4 legged companion). Oliver left this world holding Mae's hand, with his much loved family by his side. There are no words to describe what a wonderful man he was. He is a veteran of the Battle of the Bulge. In memory of Ollie take a family vacation. Services: Visitation Sunday 4:00~8:00 pm at Wurdack Memorial Presbyterian Church, 4919 Minnesota (63111), then on Monday from 9:00 until time of service 10:00 am at church. Interment Mt.
