AMELING, NORMAN J. left us on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at the age of 86 to join his beloved wife Lorraine B. Ameling (nee Mueller); loving father of Kathleen (Harold) Garland; Barbara Sue (Tom) Nolan, Lois (Kirk) Light and David (Sally) Ameling, grandfather and great-grandfather of Paul Garland; Amy (David) Ross, Isabella and Elena; Christine (Rick) Tucker, Kane and Paige; Matt (Dena) Nolan; Meredith (Brad) Maglinger, Alexis and Isaac; Gretchen Light; Jason (Lauren) Ameling. Reece and Kieran; Jared and Jamie Ameling; loving brother of Betty Hall; dear uncle, cousin and friend to all. Mr, Ameling retired from Woermann Const. Co., served as president of the AGC of St. Louis, was an active member of St. Lucas United Church of Christ and Webster Groves Rotary, and volunteered at the South County YMCA. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Lucas U.C.C. Memorial Fund or the charity of your choice, "as he gave to them all". Mr. Ameling instate at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS South County 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd., Sunday 2-8PM then instate Monday 9:00am until time of service at 10:00am at St. Lucas U.C.C. . Interment: St. Lucas Cemetery April 11, 2010
