Norma Jean Gross

Norma Jean Gross, nee Morrison, 83, passed away on December 15, 2024. Daughter of the late H. Lawrence and the late Rose Marie, nee Hill, Morrison, former wife of the late Randy Gross, mother of; Mike (Karen) Gross of Owensboro, KY and Jim (Julie) Gross of Waunakee, WI, grandmother of; Catherine (fiancé Bryce Burnett) Gross of Owensboro, KY, Amanda (Ben) Akers of Arcanum, OH, Brian Gross of Louisville, KY, Rebecca (Alex) Clark of Spring Hill, TN, and Jordan Gross of Waunakee, WI, great grandmother of; Paxton, Cohen, and Cason Akers, and Lyla and Calloway Clark. Norma was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Norma attended St. Louis University and earned a BA in 1963, a MS in 1968, and a PhD in international finance in 1986. She taught accounting at SLU from 1968-2002. Norma enjoyed exercise and was a terrific water volleyball player. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing cards, and rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Services: Visitation will be on Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 1-4 pm at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons South County Chapel, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63129. Mass of Chirstian Burial will be on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 11 am at St. George Catholic Church, 128 W. 4th St, Hermann, MO 65041. Interment in St. George Cemetery, Hermann, MO
