Nathen Daniels, a true St. Louisan to his core, went to Heaven on January 15, 2025, at the age of 32, leaving behind memories of laughter, adventure, and unwavering love.
Nathen possessed a unique brand of humor – quick wit, mischievous grins, and a contagious laugh that could brighten any room. He lived life to the fullest, embracing every opportunity for fun and adventure. Whether it was a spontaneous road trip, a lively gathering with friends, or simply enjoying an evening with family, Nathen cherished every connection.
His dedication to his country was evident in his service to the United States Army. He valued the bonds of brotherhood, both in his military service and in his lifelong friendships. His friends were his chosen family, and he cherished the bonds they shared. Nathen had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed.
Nathen is survived by his father Yancey Daniels; his mother Patsy Daniels; his step-mother Misty Daniels; his siblings Derron Daniels (Jessica Daniels), Aliyah Daniels, Marrion Hill, Marquis Hill, Kalynn Daniels, Kylee Daniels, Jackson Daniels, and Jace Daniels; his grandmothers, Charlie Ervin, Terry Conners, and Karen Kennedy, along with step-granmother Dolly Wors; his grandfathers Michael Conners, Jonn Wann, and Robert Wors; his nephew Knight Daniels; his uncles Nick Gildehaus and Bob (Amanda Ellis) Wors; his aunt Jamie Gildehaus; his niece Rylan Gildehaus; his nephew Canaan Gildehaus; and many, many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) or Disabled American Veterans in Nathen's honor.
Nathen's visitation will be held on Sunday January 26, 2025, at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63129 from 2:00 p.m. until his funeral service at 5:00 p.m. His graveside service will be held the following morning, January 27, 9:00 a.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
