Myrtle Eckhardt

Myrtle Eckhardt (nee Sandstedt), “Aunt Myrt”,  passed away on June 30, 2019 at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late Walter Eckhardt; dear daughter of the late Charles and Julia Sandstedt; dear sister of the late Vivian Glanzner, Carl, Vernon and Timothy Sandstedt; our dear aunt, great aunt, great great aunt and friend.

A retiree of Southwestern Bell  Telephone Co. and a member of the Telephone Pioneers.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Heartland Hospice Care, 12101 Woodcrest Executive Dr. Suite 102 St. Louis, MO 63131 or the charity of your choice preferred. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the Heartland Hospice Care and the Senior Helpers of St. Louis for their loving care shown to Aunt Myrt.

Visitation is Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Homes - South County, 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd., then to Oak Hill Cemetery for graveside service.
