Hartmann, Muriel Catherine (nee Meyer) Passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Friday, April 6, 2018, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Arthur L. Hartmann; devoted and loving mother of Barbara Poelling, Michael (Elaine) Hartmann, David Hartmann, Maureen Hartmann, and the late Gary (surviving Mary Ann) Hartmann and James Hartmann; proud grandmother of twelve and great-grandmother of twelve; dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Muriel was: Proud of her Wisconsin heritage. A "Cheesehead" and lifelong Green Bay Packer Fan. An avid admirer of the Budweiser Clydesdales. A Constant companion to Bogart and Cooper. A fierce competitor when it came to dice and cards. A wonderful source of wisdom and advice. She enjoyed family, friends, puppies, lake-life, barbeques, and sunsets. While at the lake house, she could often be found riding around on the multitude of motorized toys, ice cream in hand. She felt every moment was a fresh beginning and that laughter was an instant vacation. She always prayed that her destination would be a far greater place than she would ever know, a place of everlasting peace. And little did she realize the many hearts she touched and how deeply she would be missed. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Alternative Hospice for their caring support during Muriel's final days. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Little Haven (OurLittleHaven.org). Services: Family and friends to gather and visit from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday (April 13), at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS FUNERAL HOMES, 7027 Gravois Avenue (63116), and all are welcomed to attend our 1:00 p.m. Friday memorial service.
