Mr. Donald Mckinley

Donald W. McKinley of Eureka, MO departed this life on April 10th, 2015 in Eureka, MO. Donald was born in New Albany, Indiana on May 25th, 1943. He was united in marriage to Gladys Goodman McKinley on June 10, 1967 & 3 children came to bless this union. He was a devoted Christian who loved his family & was loyal to all his friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, hiking & traveling. He also enjoyed learning about trees, wild flowers, birds, and history. He joined Boy Scouts when he was young, & then became a leader while his brother & son were in scouts. As a young man he served in the Marine Corps for 6 years. He worked at Chrysler until he retired in 1996 after 34 years. In his retirement he enjoyed reading books & traveled throughout the United States. Donald is survived by his 3 children, Chris Van Zee & husband Jeff, Union, MO; Mark McKinley, Eureka, MO, & Tracy McKinley, Eureka, MO. Three grandchildren, Brittanie & Scott Van Zee, and Joshua McKinley, and one great grandchild, Cameron Blankenship, his brother, Keith McKinley & wife Gina, along with Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald O. McKinley & Mary Elizabeth McKinley of Dupo, IL, and grandson Jacob McKinley(son of Tracy McKinley). Memorials may be given to Muscular Dystrophy Assoc. April 13, 2015
