Mildred L. Hammett, (nee Brooks) asleep in Jesus on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late James E. Hammett; dear daughter of the late Claude and Gladys (nee Moore) Brooks, dear sister of Robert and Ralph Handy, and the late Edybe and Jack Handy, Francis “Frankie” Stewart and Mary Creamer; our dear aunt, great aunt, great great aunt and friend.
Mildred will be in state at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons Funeral Homes, 7027 Gravois Ave., St. Louis, MO 63116 on Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, then on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Salem Lutheran Church, 8343 Gravois Road, St. Louis, MO 63123 from 9:00 AM until time of service at 10:00 AM. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
