Smith, Maxine Linda Age 77, Passed peacefully on Sunday, June 23, 2013. Loving wife of the late Daniel G. Smith. Wonderful mother to Andy Smith, Tim Smith, Pam (Dave) Kimmich, Linda (Mike) Robson, and Jenny Smith. Devoted grandmother of Alyssa, Matt , and Sam Kimmich, Danny, Alison, and Greg Robson. Sister to Myrna Bolenbaugh , Randy (Colleen) Adams, Diane (late Roger) Hageman and Dawn Adams. Dear cousin, aunt, great aunt and friend to many. Maxine Smith was employed by the Missouri Department of Family Services for 19 years, retiring in 2003. Maxine was known for her love of politics. She was involved in the Florissant Democratic Club and was Florissant Township Democratic Chairwoman. She loved rock and roll music, fantastic baker, avid reader, dedicated Cardinal fan, a great sense of humor and a "good sport" at playing games with her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by many. Burial service will be private at Jefferson Memorial National Cemetery. A celebration of Maxine's life will be held on Saturday, July 13 at Linda Robson's home.
