Mary Norton

Norton, Mary P. (nee Walsh), born to Eternal Life with our Lord Jesus Christ on Wed., Aug. 22, 2012 at age 89. Born March 22, 1923 in Syracuse, NY, daughter of the late Thomas and Delia Walsh (nee King); Mary later became a long-time resident of St. Louis, where she worked as a secretary in the education office of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Beloved wife of the late Gerard Norton. Dear sister of Sister Virginia Walsh, A.S.C.; devoted mother of Patrick, Thomas (Donna Herrera), Michael (deceased), Mary Anne, Teresa (Richard Young), Christine (the late Robert Speers and fiancé Donald Hoeckelman); adoring grandmother and great-grandmother of Shannon, Patrick, Shaun, Patricia, Robbie, Monica and Lennon; cherished aunt, cousin and generous friend to many. Services: Visitation Sunday 3 - 9 pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS, 7027 Gravois (63116). Funeral Monday leaving 10:30 am to St. Cecilia Church for Mass at 11:00 am. Interment J. B. National Cemetery.
